lx7 freeze.

    I got my lx7 from marcum n told me they replace transducer n motor, finally today got out to fish, same thing happen does this happen to anyone?

    Never had an issue with my lx7. It is digital so there isn’t a motor to replace. Does the screen freeze and it won’t do anything unless you shut it off and turn it back on?

    I know it doesn’t have a motor, i have to put it on stimulation mode then it work. After i update it to 4.07 my lx7 started to frerzed

    Mine doesn’t freeze up but my bottom jumps every now and then. This issue is very frustrating and has cost me fish a couple of times. Does anyone know how to do a hard reset?

    Well I guess you are full of Crap then. You said Marcum said they replaced the motor. Either that or English is a second language for you and your grasp of it isn’t very good. Simulator mode is the only way it works.

    Dynamic mode will jump around. If you are using that try auto mode instead and it should be fine.

    My sons lx6 has done the freeze up a couple times and i just unplug the battery and plug it back in then its all good. Hope this helps.

    It jumps around in manual and auto mode. Dynamic mode worked great with v3.17. Can you tell me what the difference is between dynamic mode and auto mode?

    I am going by what I have read others have posted. The common theme seemed to be an issue primarily in dynamic mode. I know if you email Marcum they can send you software to go back to a previous update. I’m not sure why one unit works fine with the new update and others have issues. Good luck

    How can I get this stimulation mode on my LX7? I think I could use this when the fish aren’t cooperating.

    In other news, the “freezing” issue seems to be a very uncommon one, like many people have said in the past they unplug the battery and plug it back in and it’s fine… maybe a battery cable got bumped loose or just wasn’t fully connected to begin with. The bottom jumping I’ve seen on 3.17 here and there, but it is fixed with manual dynamic feature added in the 4.07 update. If you haven’t upgraded to the latest firmware yet and you see some jumping, make sure your transducer is level and/or lower your ping rate; this has helped me and I hope it helps you too.
