wanted to know if anyone has been out on it this year. If so what kind of luck did you have.

I have been out there several times this year. I am very surprized with the size of the crappies here. Lots of 12-14 inch fish. It reminds me of the bite that was going on west of brookings this year. I have noticed that the fishing pressure has gone up though. Heading to webster area very soon though can’t wait for perch

i had an awesome day thank you nick95 i owe you a huge one for a great day on the ice. never would of went until your advice. the bite is hot and heavy about 330 and will die off around 430 and then pick back up right at dusk. had lots of fun and even had my kid and the smiles wouldn’t be better.

I’m glad you and the kids had a good time out there. I’m taking my youngest out there on sunday for some tip-up fishing when its warm. I have caught quite a few out there this year on tip-ups, and she loves to see those flags pop. I’m surprized with the perch picture, since they just stocked them last year. That looked pretty nice, how big 10-12? Hope the ice hangs in there for a few weeks!!!

i did’t have the measure stick with me at the time but i would have to say at least 10″. i might have to meet you out on sunday. the ice i wouldn’t worry about it going anywhere any time soon. thanks again.
