I posted yesterday about my auger not running right and got some good feedback. I was looking at it today and there is absolutely no adjustment screws on the carb…how are you suppose to adjust the air/fuel mixture and so on??Its a jiffy 3 hp 3500 series stx pro. 3 years old. Any thoughts?

I’m getting in here half way but, one thing make sure all the bolts are good and snag. The littlest air leak will not let it run right. Good luck!!!

i have a new jiffy bought last year have probably drilled 100 holes, went to use it this year and took 30 plus pulls to get it started every time i wanted to use it so i called jiffy and the guy said that i did register it.(i cant believe i did) he told me to bring it to there certified repair shop for repair no charge. the carb is not serviceable from what i was told.the shop put on a new carb. now i have to hold throttle wide open and 3 to 4 pulls p.o.s. i miss my old jiffy that i had for 25 years and never a problem and still runs good today, gave it to my son in law

I used to have the same problems with alot of my small engines until I started paying attention to the fuel I use and I starteding using Startron Ethynol additive. From my boat, ATV and everything gets a shot of Startron to the gas. No more issues and getting upset over something that could be prevented. Ethynol fuel s()<ks!

Premixes are the answer for a lot of carb issues.

Don’t blame the manufacture for poor storage and bad fuel. If there truly is a carb problem call the manufacture and get it to a service center. Most of them have no problem fixing them.

I had this problem after one winter I thought it was bad gas, put new gas in and still did not fix the problem. Called Jiffy they told me it was a Carb issue from the factory told me to bring it in and replaced the carb no questions asked. I have not had a problem since. My auger is 3yrs old as well.
