Rare but not often seen. I caught one on lake kegonsa near Madison several years ago. See a few every year come from here and there! That one would occupy a space on my wall though! Beautiful fish!

That is an awesome looking fish! I have never seen one before but now I think I’ll have to start hunting for one. Great fish thanks for showing them off!

Very cool, thanks for sharing. Fish mounts have never done anything for me but that would be on the wall really fast.

I do believe If I would have been the catcher on that fish, it would be hanging underneath the 14.75″ perch I have now on the wall. the colors on that thing are amazing, not to mention the size….NICE FISH!!!

A buddy got one of those in northern MN three years ago. We called it an albino. Not near as big, but it was released after a couple photos.

Not to split hairs…but I will anyway. An albino completely lacks any pigment.

Not according to the old interweb: Contrary to popular belief albino fish can have color besides white. Albino fish cannot synthesize the black pigment melanin, but this mutation has no effect upon its bearer’s ability to manufacture and deposit red and yellow pigments. Which means these blue perch are probably not albinos.

That smaller one’s along the lines of what I’ve seen. To catch a blueish perch like the first pic…..wow is all I can say! Congrats!
