catch two of them and you wouldn’t need to eat for a week.

We have a couple of anglers on this site that catch these on a regular basis. I will let them chime in if they want to be knowen. Somday I would like to yank some thru the ice. Did some reserch on them. They like clear water and don’t like water flow. Knocks out my main body of water.

havasu has always had huge sunfish, if im not mistaken the world record green sunfish came from the same lake/area.

The guy pondering the 7″ or 10″ Lazer need only look at this thread and his decision will be made.

Guys I talk with down on Kentucky Lake (KY) rave about how good these things taste, and how much fun they are to catch. They become targets several weeks after I get down there for a crappie bite, and break in the cold come early April.

While I am sure they are nothing like that beast, can you imagine fishing for say 1.5-3# blue gills, on steroids. Has to be a good time.

Angling Edge has a video up of Al and Ron walking into the store where that fish is in the freezer and they’re checking it out and then the guy that caught it walks in and they meet. Pretty cool. Sorry I need to learn how to link that stuff.
