So this year I upgraded to a otter full thermal 1200 xt cabin. I also have a clam x2 and a one man Jason Mitchell one man thermal. All I can say is wow. I was up in URL in -20 weather and with the cooker heater on low with the door open my buddy and myself were literally burning hot. This product is truly elite. We could not even tell that it was windy out either. If anything I would almost complain that it is too hot and needs to be vented better. Lol. It is also very well built and is lighter full of both of our gear than the x2 empty. All around top notch and for the first time I’m 100% happy and satisfied with my fish house. Hands down best fish house on the market!!

Thanks for sharing, loomis821. This shack is definitely on my wish list. It’s not too overly large to handle w/ one person and would make a spacious one man shack. Going out with a buddy? Plenty of room to fish 2 people comfortably. Very versatile, warm shack in my opinion. I’ve checked out the fabric at a local sports shop and all I can say is wow. That fabric is very heavy/thick and should be incredibly warm. Congrats on the purchase!

I have the Clam X4 shanty and now iv been looking at the otters and they look like they are built way better than the clam! Mine has the thermal top but not on the sides. Full thermal would be Sweeeet!

I can truly say you will be 100% impressed. It pulls surprisingly easy even fully loaded and fishes two large adults perfectly. I have very high standards as far as what I demand from a portable fish house and equipment and it delivers.you will be happy with the purchase.
