What are you guys using for panning?

Have always had issue with it when fishing in current, Green Bay.

Most power panning units are for bigger cables.

Look up the accessory page for these cameras. They got some sort of clips etc.

I use the aqua vu ice pod that is meant for the bigger cables. Just wrap your micro cable around the stopper. BTW that stopper doesn’t float, so i use a small piece of foam.

Kind of the same issue for me with the FishPhone. It is a pain trying to spin it and then stop it on a certain point. There seems to be a lot of resistance to twisting.

Now that I think about it I am wondering if it helps to unroll a bunch of extra wire to give it more play?

For my aqua view mini, just took a paint stick and used double sided tape to stick a clothes pin to it. Yes, I know it’s something a redneck would do, but it’s light weight and does not take up any space. I might have $0.50 in it and it works like a charm, but you have to manually index it.

You got any pictures, I can’t quite picture what you are explaining in my mind.

Here you go. Last year on a fishing trip, the only way you could catch fish was watching them on a camera. They would grab the bait & just sit. Spring bobbers would not detect the bite, so off to the local Walmart we went. It’s made from a heavy duty paint stick. We didn’t have a saw at the lodge so we used a steak knife to cut them down. The clothes pin puts just enough pressure to hold the cord & not damage it.

False. That board was bought and not taken off a structure meant to shelter the family or possessions. Even the close pin look new. Lord know rednecks got plenty of clothespins to hang their clothes after washing the clothes in the bathtub, but they are too valuable to be used any other way.
