Just looking for suggestions of where to start on planning a trip to Lake Winnipeg. This would be my first trip to the big lake. A group of friends and myself are planning to go in the middle of March. Any suggestions of where to stay for lodging, or possible guides to get in touch with? Is it possible to do our first trip unguided?????
There’s a group of IDO’ers heading there this weekend. I’m sure they will have some fresh intel next week.
I will be heading up march 23-27. Staying in the winnipeg beach area. This will be my first trip there as well. If you haven’t booked a place to stay yet you better get on it cuz it fills up fast. The place where we are staying was booked up a month ago for the last few weeks in march.
