Anyone got any small lake suggestions for a one day fish? Have to head up to a event and I managed to sneak in one free day to fish.

Off road travel is really tough so you might have to stick to the busier spots or walk. The bite has been pretty slow but it is possible to catch fish if you are willing to work. N. Long and Edwards has been fair for walleyes or so I’ve heard. Panfish bite has been real tough for me. Good luck.

I will be walking. Don’t have room for the snowmobile, so it will be dragging the portable with. Kind of narrowed it down to either Edwards or North long.

X2 on Lake Edward, I grew up fishing that lake all summer long and several winters as well… what are you looking to target?

Probably try and chase down some crappies.
