Flasher/gps combo

    Has anyone mounted a gps to the back of their vexilar? Looking for some tips on how I would wire one to a 12v battery.

    Dan J did this with eilite 4 on a vex it looked nice and was lightweight with the lithium ion battery swap

    Get a ram mount that will fit your gps. And if it has a cigarette adapter just buy something like this:

    I’ll see if I can find a picture of it. I mounted a Elite 4 on the back and wired it into the power cord for the FL 28. Also went with a 10 amp Lithium Ion battery. On the Ultra PAC the whole thing is maybe 5 lbs. The nice part is you can put the gps on standby or turn it off to save the battery. Set up like this it fits in a 5 gal. Bucket. It’s lite enough to carry when your walking out.
