I went and made a small step. I got a 4 1/5 amp one. I used it on my Elite 5 today for 1 1/2 hours. It started out at 13.1 volts. I ended up at 13.0 I can’t complain yet. I usually only fish for a couple hours. Price was good at 60.00 bucks. So So Light 1.4 lbs

Lithium batteries are great. I have been using a 10 amp. for a couple years. The downside is that they will read full charge until they are completely discharged. A 10 amp will run a 1 amp drain for 10 hours, 4 amp 4 hours and so on. The big advantage is light weight and fast recharge. You also need a smart charger made for Lithium Ion batteries. A regular charger will shorten the battery life. The good Lithiums have a built in charging circuit to protect them. I didn’t know that when I got mine so I ended up spending another $50.00 for a charger. K2 makes them with the charging circuit built in so you can use any charger.

Good info. The battery I have says I can use my regular charger. Time will tell.

    Wow only 1.4lbs? That’s awesome!!!

If I remember right, the elite 5 has a 250mah draw. You should get close to 18 hrs with it.
