Since it’s so damn cold I’m thinking about renting an icehouse for myself and the GF. We would like a sleeper and it would be during the week. Mainly looking for a good panfish bite, but if we happen to catch a few eyes that would be a nice bonus.

Any recommendations for a good place in WI or MN? We have all the electronics, auger, etc, just looking for some place with a decent bite and reasonable in price.

When are you thinking about going Nutz? If you’re looking at later in February the crappie and walleye bite will be much better and we could set you up in a cabin or kitchenette and have an icehouse on the Lake for you to use. Feel free to shoot me a pm Sir.

That might be a little further than we want to travel. But will keep it in mind. Looking toward the end of Feb.

What about Winnebago. I don’t know of any places.

There’s a guy who rents one on wissota but that’s gunna be 12″ cigars and and a handful of really big crappie, not sure if that fits the bill but it’s close. I think his name is Mark McIlquham.
