Marcum LX-3

    Okay, here is my problem. I am buying a used Marcum LX-3 for $200, Marcum no longer does the upgrade from an older LX-3 to an LX-3tc. Is there any way I can make the upgrade myself? Or is there anyone who knows of someone other than Marcum that will still do it?

    The only way for you to do it would be is to just buy the lx3-tc screen from Marcum directly. That’d be the only option I’m aware of.

    Does the upgrade really make that much difference? Good buy at $200!

    The upgrade adds another bulb, there are only 2 bulbs right now with the plain LX-3. The added bulb makes it clearer and more defined.

    Do they sell just the front panel? I talked to a guy and he works for Marcum and he said that they no longer do the upgrade. But I may be able to buy the front panel as a replacement part and put it in myself?
