I know I posted this before but is there someplace in or near the cities that has rod components in house? Thorne Bros? I am now down two rods that just need tips and I need to have the rods with me to size. Thanks.

That could be dangerous! There is no way a sane man could go into the TUCR shop for a tip and not come out with an extra rod or two.

A guy buys a Suzuki in 1998, joins a new fangled fishing forum a couple years later and naturally uses his outboard name, then BAM 16 years later he’s labeled a rice grinder.

You could say the tip top was really expensive?

John, you should have said fairly priced rather than “Really expensive”

But honey the tip top to repair was only $89.99 and they gave me a free Noodle with my tip top.

It was like a Macy’s sale, that my wife said she saves $300 buts spends $500….
