Ice hole placement

Fishing out of a flip over, where do you like to drill holes in the house? Just curious how others are doing it. 4 holes and a small heater attached to an outside tank.

Recently I was on a site that had several patterns but I can’t find it now.

2 left bigger gap 2 right. In the bigger gap I place the big buddy heater

On the heater I have a 20lb tank in a milk crate in back corner of shack with a bungee cord holding it to the corner than run a 12ft cord which will run along the edge of the shack around to the front.

I place my wife on the left side of the heater since on the big buddy that is the side that stays lit on low and med so she stays warm and I can fish longer.

We got bored so this is what we ended up with. Little spooky looking down such a big hole but you can run everything out of this big hole.

And when you left what did you mark that with so no one goes into the lake, like kids? Sorry man, but that is just plain dangerous.

Absolutely. It drives me bananas not seeing spear holes marked. And those are sometimes much bigger than this. It was fun at the time but it won’t ever happen again. I felt way to on edge about something going in the drink. Just thought if make some light humor on where everyone places their holes in their house.

We do a smiley face,5 holes for the mouth, the camera is the nose,some times up side down. Works great.
