I was hoping someone could tell me how deep should be looking to trap creek shiners in the winter. I went out today to a hole where I trapped them prior to the creek icing up. I dropped my camera down in 4-5ft. of water , it was barren not one minnow. Do they burrow in the leaves or find deeper holes? All replies greatly appreciated. PM me if you prefer.
