I need feedback so I can show my new girlfriend what is “normal! after catching a fish when ice fishing. Maybe I’m off base here but I thought throwing a fish on the ice was normal 
other feedback is welcomed!
Ice or bucket with a tiny bit of ice shavings in the bottom if its warm out. Never in water or they splash all day.
On the ice if alone, in the sled if people around.
On the ice but not where they can be seen. Also try not to let them freeze, I hate trying to clean frozen fish.
In a bucket , no water, throw em on the ice and you can expect company

Bucket with water. I hate trying to clean frozen fish or wait for them to thaw. I’m impatient.
I fill the bottom 4″ of a bucket with snow. I toss the fish on top of that. I do this to prevent them from frezing solid.
Throw it where you want and tell her to keep her trap shut. Noe excuse me, I have my GF pants to iron. 
I save plastic bags from stores and use them. No fish slime in the bucket and easier to bring inside to clean.
If you are trying to show her ‘normal’, doing it by posting a poll on the internet for a bunch of weirdos to give a consensus is probably not a good start….. 
I use a liner too, i also club em so they are not floppin when im cleanin, through a little snow on em your good to go

Heh, some good replies here, thanks all. Fortunately, the “weirdos” here are the best source of expert information around. Besides, this was her idea so I think she trusts the response.
