Upper Red Lake Rd2!!!!!

Alright going to hit Upper Red again with a few of my boys Feb.22-24th

Any pointers what to use? Look for?

Just got back from there! Fished Monday until Thursday morning. Early in the week, fish would only touch a deadstick. We used fatheads because all the bait shops had sold out of shiners, so call ahead to make sure you can get some of those. Before we came up we heard the bite was terrific on shiners and OK at best on fatheads. We got out 3 biggest fish on deadsticks on monday and tuesday, they measured out to be 28.5, 24.5, and 24. Later in the week, fish were much more active and were drilling the spoons w/ minnow head! We used slender spoons and the top producer was a silver/green combo. Gold/green did well too, glow was much less productive.

Ok, yea we were up there the weekend before Xmas and was slamming them on the Tingler hot pink with minnow head, and would get a few here and there on a dead stick or rattle real.
