Wheelhouse License

Here is my question… I am looking at a wheelhouse, just a small one but nonetheless, a wheelhouse. It has no lights, such as turn sigals or brake signals… my question is, do I need to license it as a trailer, if I plan on never taking it down the road, on its wheels. I would trailer to the lake on a licensed trailer, off load on the lake and set-up for the season. I know they have to be licensed as a trailer to go down the road, and have lights and all that, but I don’t plan it ever being towed down a public road, I wouldn’t trust it above 10 mph anyways ! Thanks for any insight !

If you haul it on another trailer, no you wouldn’t need anything but a shelter license. And you only need the shelter license if you leave it unattended.

Thanks, that’s what I thought. Some auction company is trying to tell me I “HAVE TO” license it, even though it isn’t licensed as it sits right now when they are selling it …. before I can remove it….even if I trailer it out…? = SCAMMERS.. trying to charge licensing and admin fees
