what to do?????

    Im looking into getting a underwater camera. That being said i really want the lx9!! But i dont really want to spend that kind of money. Someone please talk me out of buying it….. if i dont get that im looking into the 385c or the 625sd. Can anyone tell me what they think of them?? Thanks!!!!

    The 625 and 825 along with the camera on the LX-9 are basically the same cameras.

    Of course the 625 had the 6″ screen and there’s a bit of difference in power consumption but not enough to mention.

    If you feel you can’t afford a 9 and plan on using the camera frequently, I would go with the 825 over the 625.

    If your fishing out of a house mostly, the 8″ screen will come in handy. A wheelhouse with a TV, then any of the MarCums can be used to feed the image to the screen.

    Many people use the 625 and are happy with it. I just like the large screen of the 8 for viewing from a distance.

    Just like boat motors, go as big as you can.

    I’ve had a AV scout for years and always use a tv so screen size isn’t a big thing to me. I think a big thing to look for is which does the best in low light conditions or has lights that work at dark. I’m not sure which that is anymore so I’m just going to watch and see what kind of answers you get. They all work great at noon with a bright sun. My friends Marcum works better at dark than my AV but both are old.
