Marcum cone angles

So just kind of curious as to why doesn’t Marcum make a more in between cone angle on their single beam transducers? Also I don’t think they do but do they make a narrow single beam transducer at all? I’m looking to get a vx-1p but I occasionally fish 60 ft so the narrow beam would be nice.

I also have a VX1. They do not have a different option for that cone.

Do you ever fish deep with it? I have a few holes that are around 60 ft I fish. Also does anyone know why Marcum does this?

The deepest I have fished is 35 feet. If you are alone it will work OK. I was in a house with 4 other lines in the water. I could see my bait fine but I could also see everyone else’s as green near the bottom.

Raise your ducer up and use the ice to “block” the width of the cone on the side that is against the ice . Works very well to eliminate other lines.
