    I love the up-to-date shows, however I know this puts quite a bit of pressure on the crew to be successful. What happens if the plan fails, is there a backup show ready to roll out?

    Nope, we just force ourselves to fish harder, longer and smarter to make it happen or find another lake in the area to hit. We don’t have backup shows in the hopper. I’m sure at some point this is going to bite us in the hinder but I’ve got a crew of guys that are quite literally willing to bleed out their eyes to try and avoid it no matter what it takes.

    In the end mother nature wins eventually. We just need to try and minimize the number of times it happens over the course of a broadcast season. I will tell you this, all the production guys are getting a nice bonus if we pull off 26 shows in 26 weeks.

    For years I have friends that will drop a truck at the closest Chevrolet dealer to the highway we are traveling. We have left it for 4-10 days. I always call the used car manager and offer to leave a set of keys when I stop to meet him and pick up my friends. Mike

    James, if you are traveling tomorrow(Fri 1/10) watch for the rain turning to ice as it hits the frozen ground! Saturday and on this week will be wonderful!

    Yes it did !!!

    I parked my vehicle at Wally for a couple of days while we drove down to Kansas and pulled some monster Crappies out of Glen Elder Reservoir..

    It was a great show too !!

    Just the pleasure of pulling some monster crappies out from below the hard water !!!!

    the only thing I would have done different was to bring my 5″ auger bit !!!
