    I know most seem to like the LX-7, but is anyone running the FLX-28? If so, how do you like it?

    I’ve had mine for about two weeks and so far I have nothing but good things to say about it. The auto-depth feature works great and is a nice feature. The vibrant display really stands out. I haven’t had a chance to use the weed mode so can’t comment on it. If its like the other Vexilars I have owned, it should be a long lasting, trouble free unit.

    Love it. Interference is pretty much nonexistent. Like Chad says , the bright colors are great for fishing out in the sun. LIKE

    Must be an iowan thing…. all jokes aside they look nice and would like to fish in front of one and contemplated buying one but figured I would wait a year or two to work the kinks out

    How is it compared to the fl-22hd? I had the 22 for about a season and a half and was very disappointed in it. I had switched from the Marcum LX-5 to the fl-22 and was wishing I kept the Marcum.

    I have the flx-28 and really like it. I like it so much that I bought a second one. You can choose between 5 color options. Works really good in shallow water. I had an lx-5 once and didn`t care for it.

    Just currious about what you didn’t like about the LX-5? I had a FL18 and compaired it to the LX-5 and there was no comparison. I won’t knock vexliar but if your looking for a finer line seperation in my oppinion the MarCum was the best.
