    Hey randy,

    I think it was last winter when you came over to the mississippi to ice fish. Just wondering if you are comming back this year? I really enjoyed your report and would like to see another!

    Would love to!!! The Miss is by far one of my favorite places on earth next to 9000 ft up in the mountains in Colorado or along the Breccia Cliffs in Wyoming.

    Partially, I’m waiting on the main channel to get safe enough ice for some longer travel routes to a few of my favorite wing dams. Meanwhile, I’m really in a snooze fest of very uninteresting fishing. One of the reasons why I haven’t put up any reports in a while. I’ve never been a fan of throwing up generic reports just for the fact of having something up there. If I’m making the time to write, I want to share something that is new or exciting to contribute. Going to Fox lake and drilling 10-20 holes and catching 20 to 50 crappies on the same old spoons and plastics same reports the site was flooded with all of last year.
    I’m assuming you were referring to when (Scott) Milemark 714 & I went exploring the channel edge and wing dam flats with the LX-9. What part of that was most beneficial?

    I loved the footage! I try and think outside of the box when it comes to ice fishing so its nice to see someone else doing the same. It seems like every year i pick up a new spot. I have plenty of transportation options so i rarely fish around any other fishermen. Cant wait for your next mississippi river report!

    Great info to know. I’ve been trying to capture more on video throughout a day to share with potential reports. As an example – explaining to guys that the brown trout in the marina cruise much higher in the water column – Browns in the harbor
