LX6 Color Issues

Jut got a new LX6 and after using it realized that the colors it is displaying maybe aren’t what they should be. According to what I’ve seen from other pictures and videos they are much too light. The green is really a light blue or turquoise and the yellows and red are a little too light I think too. It is always the same no matter what color pallete I am using. Here is a pic of the colors when it is in simulator mode……anybody relate to this???

Yea that seems a little bit off to me. My LX-7 has much better color than that. I would call Marcum on that.

Is that in the six color pallete?

Nope that is the R Y G. It doesn’t look much different when I change it to the six either. Thinking for sure something is wrong the more I look at other videos and pictures. Definitely not the green color I should be getting. Don’t you think?

I noticed this when I bought it but it never bothered me at all.

But I use 6 color all the time…

My buddy had two lx7s that had slightly different color schemes being displayed. He swapped ducers and set equivalent settings on both units without much luck figuring out if it was the setup vs. the device. The one had a Thanksgiving color scheme going compared to his other machine and mine.

He brought it in to Versa and nothing was found wrong with it. In the end he sold it; looking back he thinks he may have had one in the 8 degree and the odd looking one in the 20 degree cone setting.

I switch my from 8 to 20 alot and never notice a color change tho.

I just looked at my lx6 and it does seem that your green is a shade or two lighter than mine. Yours is almost blue. Mine by all means is not “green” but it’s closer to it than yours. I’m always on the 6 color mode though so it’s definatly not an issue for me.
