LX7 issue

After a 4 day trip to LOTW my LX7 was awesome but my buddys on the other hand was a problem… The battery was fully charges and with in a few hours was dead… Ok maybe Bad battery so we swapped the battery for a brand new fully charged back up… The same thing happened. The unit would turn it self off multiple times while still reading good volts. but the battery would only last a few hours, meanwhile I ran mine for nearly 2 full days on one charge… Anyone had or seen this before I know he is planning to call into MARCUM monday. Thanks

I’m wondering if there may be some sort of short in the power cord wiring harness. Best to call marcum

Check the power cord and check the connections on the battery. I would think this is a power issue.

Power cords and plugs seemed fine visually then.

Swap power cords and test them for longevity on the bench slide by side. Just a thought. Also look in settings and see if both units are in ice mode. I believe there is a screen heater on the 7s. I would think it would consum more power.
