Had a great night out on green lake in Interlochen mi tonight the perch and the smelt were going pretty good. Ended up keeping ten perch and 49 smelt in 50 fow from 3:00 to 6:00 caught all of the perch from 3:30 to 4:30 and then the smelt came through and just kept coming all fish were taken on the smallest glow majmun with spikes. If you have never caught smelt before I would definitely suggest it. It can be a lot of fun on a super light rod. Plus they are one of my personal favorites to eat.can’t think of a better way to spend new years eve.

on a hook for pike and i cut the heads off cut down the belly and scoop out all the junk throw them in some drakes mix and fry those babies up. it seems weird but my favorite part is the tail it gets crispy and salty.
