I’m going there on news years day. It looks good on paper but I haven’t been there before. I’m looking for any tips or info on the lake.

Head towards the point off the second island from the landing and le mioux resort. It drops down to 20 some feet and comes up to about 3. Northerns walleye crappie and gills all use this area.

Also on the backside of the island infront of the landing there is a few rock piles that I have done good on crappies at. I think in about 15ft of water

Thanks for the tips. We are going for the afternoon/evening bite. I’m leaving Woodbury around 10:30.

Sunset on has usually been the best crappie bite I have had there. Firetiger jigging rap with a mnnow head on the treble hook is my go to bait for cedar.
