Who is going to venture out today?!
I am debating it but I am watching the Baro and it’s rising.
The permanent is ready to rock but who knows if the fish will bite!

I was out this morning and had good luck. Most every fish that came through was really aggressive. I was a bit surprised myself. Never know how there biting unless you actually try it. I would say if you have a chance, get out a wet a line.

Last year I went out open water on one of the coldest days of the year just like this one, and hammered the SMB. 45min brought in 5 fish all between 17-20″. One might have pushed over, was a beast, but too cold to hold out of water longer than 5seconds, at least that’s how long I wanted to push it. Ever since that lil outing I never count out cold days, especially when there was a streak of warmer ones prior. Tight lines to those that brave it out!

I was out last night when the winds first started. Needless to say, the fish did not like it haha. Lethargic was the name of the game as the fish seemed more concerned about being caught up in the turbulent current than eating.
