Camera line grommet

I have a simple black and white aqua view camera that works nice but is a pain to get/keep in the right place. I saw that they sell a three legged stand that goes over the hole with a rubber grommet that holds it in place and is easily twistable to spin the camera for $16. I don’t want to spend $16, and a piece of wood would work fine, I just need a grommet.

Anyone know where I can find one? Basically like the rubber thing on marcums that is on the transducer line and rests on the arm.

try one of the Vexilar stops for their transducer. they are sold 2 to a pack and are like $1.49 . Fleet Farm at St Cloud had them in stock or you can order directly from Vexilar.

    the part # is ST-100

Marcum at one time did sell that part as a replacement part but since the Rapala take over I don’t know if you can get just that any more.

I made one with a cheep spring clamp mounted to to stick. Just adjust the stick that spans the hole. A few bucks.

For clarification, Rapapla took over MarCum’s advertising. MarCum has not changed hands.

That’s pretty old, I’m thinking you’ll have to email Aqua View to find that part. Might faster to just make one like suggested above.

I just screwed a clothes pin to a board with a slot in it. It works great holding the camera in place for hours. If you set it looking at your bait its fine. If you like to spin your camera a lot there is probably a better option.

Gander Mountain has them as well.
