Santa was nice and got me a Gift Cert. to TUCR. I know i am going to get a Percision Noodle. I am leaning twards a split Grip in 32″. I mostly fish inside a 2 man size flip over. But also hole hop a fair amount outside. Is the 32″ the best Choice. I am a little worried the 32″ may be a little long for the inside the house use, but want it for the hole hoping. I was just going to go with the stock blue wraps with the Hi-viz tip. Anyone care to share any thought or Ideas I may open to them. Santa also said the 2 guys she worked with at TUCR were great to work with. I am looking forward to getting the new rod.

You will love it. I fish out of an old Clam Guide and no problem with the 32″ rod when setting the hook. Just wish I had gone with the split grip. Enjoy.

Rod length in flip overs are not a problem when you customize the seats so you sit towards the back of the house and your feet are inside the tub while fishing. I don’t think clam tubs can be customized in this manner. I do have a old fishtrap up in the rafters, I might have to pull it down and see if that one can be customized.

32″ is the most popular length. Fishes well inside or out.

I use my 32″ Quick Tip inside my shack and have no problems what so ever, and its a great length for me out of the shack as well. I am a fan of the spit grip but its all personal preference. Lots of that depends on how you hold your rod, I tend to hold under the rod so the split lays right between my thumb and pointer finger, and that’s very comfortable for me.

No mater what you decide you will love it!!
