I finally got out to try my auger adapter today. I’m using a Dewalt 18 volt drill and a 6 inch lazer auger. So far I think for the type of fishing I do this is going to be a good thing for me. I was able to get 15 holes through 10 inches of ice on one battery and the thing is very lite weight and compact which is good when traveling on foot. As for the fishing it was very slow. Only caught 4 keeper size gills and 1 crappie. I let them all go for another day.

Glad you like it. I have also been happy with mine. what AH battery were you using. if you only got 15 hole through 10″ of ice then you must have had a 1.5 AH battery or a battery that wasn’t fully charged to start with. a 3 AH battery should get you around 50 to 70 holes through 10″‘s of ice. the prototype was tested last year on 16″ of ice and they got 40 holes on a 3.3AH battery (Panasonic Drill).

I only have the 1.5 ah battery. I plan to upgrade later but for now it works pretty good and happy with it because I didn’t spend a lot of money and I can move around more without getting to tired out from drilling holes.
