    Awfully tough bite. Only managed one lil slimer this morning. Good 13 inches of ice and plenty of trucks and wheelhouses. Gonna get back after it later, thinking French or Cedar.

    At the steep drop past the launch, northeast of the main basin. Had some early luck a couple weeks ago by the dirt launch on the north, but I think today will be my last trip there this year.

    pepin today also had a very tough bite lots of lookers just could not get them to bite. threw the kitchen sink at them waxies, minnows, jigging/dead sticking and only had one crappie in 6 hours on a deadstick line? on the plus side got the atv out there 8″ of good ice in most places
