Sorry it’s been a week since I have been back. After leaving SE MN at 2:30am we made it up to upper red around 12:30 after stopping in Blackduck to get bait, and in Bemidji.
We met with our rental guy Chad of Chadsredlakerentals.com had us meet off of sandberg road and we set off fishing in around 10 to 9.5 shore break.
First day we were on the eyes right away, within 15min of getting to the sleeper I had my first red eye through the Ice and a 18” none the less. so let the games begin.
Saturday night was rough, after throwing back a case of adult beverages and getting a few hours of shut eye woke up to zero heat and -35*, with propane issues I knew Sunday was the day we would kill it. And we did all four of us came back with our limits here is a few photos enjoy

Are total fish count for the weekend was around 70-75 eyes with the smallest was 16″ all the eyes we caught avg. 18-19″

First two photos are the guys that came with.
    1st photo is a 24″ 2nd is a 23″ slots
    Last two are of me

Nice job I’m going up on the 1st can’t wait. Did you venture out of the shack? We are bringing portables for moving around during the day and figured the morning and night bite should be at the permanent.

Thanks and good luck take a few tingler spoons 3/16oz with you the two hot colors for us were the pink fire and the chartreuse.

No we stayed in the sleeper the entire weekend, the bite was great all day morning was slow but early evening to after dark was the best for the bite.
