I recently discovered that my tournament partner made some big improvements to his wheeler during the off season. I think this could really help cut down on search time on the ice.

Very nice! I did the same thing to my Polaris with a Lowrance HDS. I rigged mine to run off of a flasher battery instead of tying it in to the ATV power. Loving it so far…

360 on the ice would be unbelievable! When you see some structure off to the side u just mark it and move. Humminbird is without a doubt a step above the rest with 360

That looks like it would really work sweet on finding crappie schools an d structures.
Is that ATV in the SBC boat shop?

Well after a few days on the lake with the 360 last week I can say it is a very useful tool, however I can say it can have issues.

We used it a search tool to find the thickest weed beds we could find, then we would cut holes in it and check them with the marcum camera to see if they were green still. We didn’t use it in deep water much just because it seemed to be a shallow weed bite where we were. I am very exited to get it out and search for basin crappies and then I will have to report back again.

The only downfall we had other than people having augers that were to small for the ducer to go threw, was the cold. We had the 360 freeze up at one point while deployed and it popped a fuse and we of course forgot the spares. So we had to unbolt it to get it out of the hole. The next day we never tipped it back without letting the water run out first and we never had another problem.
