    Just finished day two out in Eden with Joe Honer. Five of us have had two great days fishing for perch, gills, crappies, & walleyes. Just two pics showing some decent fish. Fishing jigs & plastics or spikes or both. Great fishing, great weather, & great guys to share a shack with!

    Can’t beat SD for anything outdoors!!!! It’s so funny too that the only people that would ever dream of fishing gills or crappies are a small % of non residents which = plentiful and quality!!!! If you live there its eyes- and perch with foreheads that are king!!!

    I grabbed his card at the St paul ice fishing show but I haven’t booked a trip yet. Did he put you guys out in a shack or was it more run and gun fishing?

    We were in three shacks.while we fished one area, he & Kevin would scout other parts of the lake. If we were not catching things, or if we were satisfied, he would check back and move us if we chose to move. Pretty consistent fishing, and great accommodations!
