Looks interesting. I wonder what one of those cost?

It would be interesting to see how it does in actual snow, there’s really not enough at this point to fully test something like that out.

Doesn’t Polaris have a factory there? Maybe those are prototype machines targeting the ice fisherman yearning to mow the lawn in January.

Looks pretty sweet if you ask me. Depending on the weight, I would buy one.

That isnt a new idea we had them in the late 50s and early 60s they worked real good then they came out with the modern design and that was the demiss of the front track snowmobile they were fun and were very manueverable

That looks like a fun handyman garage project but I don’t think I’ll be saving up to buy one. The youtube comments say they sell for $3,000. For that money I’d stick to a good used snowmobile or ATV. That thing doesn’t have any suspension. They were on pretty smooth stuff but rutted up rough ice could be uncomfortable.

Looks like kind of a hassle to have the motor/track, sled to sit on, and finally pull a shack behind all of it. I’d also guess top speed wouldn’t compare to a sled or ATV either.

Still, it’s probably lightweight and I could see a decent option for some people.

Nothing more than a modern day Bolens Hus Ski.
