VMC Tinglers, TUCR’s, and Perch

I’m really digging these new VMC Tingler Spoons. This morning I fished the 1/8 yellow perch pattern and the fish responded nicely. I love the way these things fish. I don’t notice them disappearing off of the flasher screen nearly as much as the Slender Spoons do. That being said, I also got to use the new Slender Spoon Pro series in 1/8 nickel/fire tiger. I can’t say I have any complaints on that one, either.

For a nice spoon rod, the 32″ TUCR Precision that I’ve been fishing this year, has to be the perfect option. Of course that’s just my $.02

Here are some pics I took between fish. Enjoy!

Now that is a nice bag of jumbos! After catching a ton of little dinky perch throughout your life you learn to appreciate the big ones!

Nice catch. Looks like those Jumbos are eating those Pro Series Slenders like candy.

Those are Super JUMBO’S. Nice report and pics. I would love to have a couple of those 15 inchers to hang on my office wall.

Exactly. Both of these baits are extremely effective. I had fish occasionally rise up 5-6 ft to slam the spoons. Can’t really go wrong with either…

Awesome HAUL. Great to see what can happen when you put hard work, angler and great gear together!

Nothing worse than seeing lots of red lines on the flasher, only to drop down and find out they are thousands of dinky perch and not the giant gills you thought they might be.

Actually there is. Between the auger running bad (bad gas I hope) and bad slush conditions. I am stuck here with the dinky perch.

Good point. Even dinky perch are better than a Monday in the office. C’mon weekend!

I was going to say, I’ll take playing with aggressive dink perch over a skunk any day.
