Tumbler, Tingler or the flash champ. Which one seems to work better than the other?

I have been using the uv tinglers in darker conditions and the plated tumblers during light conditions. When I’m trying to call in fish I switch out to a rattle spoon. Quick snaps are my best friend! I would say get some of each and in different colors.

I see a lot of using the 3/16th Tingler Spoon. All they have is the 1/8th Tinglers locally. I have always been a fan of bigger baits for bigger fish. Anybody noticing a difference between the two? A 1/2″ differnce is a lot of spoon, I think.

The 3/16th oz. size is considerably larger in profile than the 1/8oz. It has been the top producer for me on eyes early season.

    Ben,

Is there a certain type of quick snap you like to use? I’m happy that the slender spoons I purchased came with one, but I still find myself fumbling trying to open and close them while the fish are swimming in and out of my cone. Thanks!

Tingler is fast approaching as my newe favorite lure with the colors and action making it a perch catching machine. – Qb
