Want to head up to either Leech or Red Lake in Mid January. Have never fished either lake. Is it worth while to find someone who will guide for a half a day to get on fish a little quicker and maybe a lay of the land. You know how it is, time is short and for a 3-4 day trip would like to bring home fish. We won’t be using a rental house like my clam voyager and will be mobile with snowmobiles. Thanks for any input.
