Last weekend first safe ice… Friend in need trumps fishing.

Going to get out first part of the week….. Life things happen.

Planning on being out Thur. for 50th B-day…..Bad head cold coming on

I need a LEGAL miracle cure or I will probably be miserable tomorrow. What’s your best home remedy short of being Sheet faced?

How well do you handle spicy foods? My favorite is to mix in 4 teaspoons of ground cayenne pepper and head of garlic chopped fine into a jar of mild salsa… enjoy with chips and you will be clear as a bird with lots of energy!
Peppermint tea with honey and cinnamon mixed in also add some relief.

Airborne and orange juice. Also I eat tons of spicy food as it is so I always make sure to have an extra dose of heat when I feel a cold coming on.

Netti pot plowed a nasty sinus deal for me last year. Kind of a gross deal but worked for me!

1 tall glass of vodka with lots of black pepper in it. You’ll be dizzy for a few hours than clear as a bell

My wife got a netti pot during pregnancy and I have used it at the first sign of sickness since then – it is a miracle worker. That and booze, you’ll be fine!

Might as well do up the voodoo. No miracle cure other than fluids and rest…..after you go fishing

Nothing better than the old standby; Glass of hot water and brandy with 2 tablespoons of sugar, have 2 of these and put a extra blanket on the bed and you”ll sweet it out by morning.

Tea, soup, and lots of rest. I’m also a fan of vapor rub. Just the smell makes me think I’m feeling better. I really like this weird looking tree bark tea that you can find at Mexican stores. It’s called “Cuachalalate Tea”. I don’t think it’s actually tree bark but it pretty much looks like chunks of bark. Just drop in a chunk or two and steep for 5-10 min.
