I am bouncing around the idea of renting a shack withing the 7 county metro area just for fun. Besides Tonka (I am guessing) and Waconia (I am certain), what other lakes in the 7 county metro area has rentals. I am talking overnight too.

There is a guy on Medecine Lake in New Hope that rents them on Craigslist. I used him when I lived in Anoka. Fairly priced and he turs the heat on before you get there so you just show up and fish! They are also hub style or flip overs for the most part I might add. You just park at his house and walk or drive out. He has them all over the lake for changing when the bite does.

The bait shop right by white bear lake has a sign up that says ice shack rentals. Not sure if there on white bear, bald eagle or both.

Just make sure they have comfy chairs, wouldn’t want to be uncomfortable when you are f***ing in them.

Good to know since that is 10 minutes away! How’s living in Wisconsin going?

Dan’s a friend of mine, one of the better sticks I know and he works really hard to keep his houses on good bites throughout the winter. Houses are clean and comfy with a good road plowed to them.
