Marcum LX-7 and ION auger!!!

I bought these this last week and got them both out for the first time today. I had a vexilar fl-8, so obviously I could write an article about my new Marcum. All im going to say is wow, what a great system to help me put more fish on the ice. As for the ION, I fished in Ely,mn today and when I got to the first lake, outside temp was -22 below zero, drilled between 15-20 holes with a huge grin on my face. Later in the day switching lakes and the ION drilled another 10-15 holes. The warmest it got today was 0 degrees that I saw. This electric auger performed great and being able to drill this many holes in these conditions makes me feel like I made the right decision. All in all it was a great day on two different lakes.

I’m excited to hear that about your auger. I’m looking at buying one of these and your the first person I have heard a review from. One of the questions I have always had was how well it would perform in the cold. Thanks for sharing your info.
