Just came off the dryer this morning my new walleye hammer. Its a Thorne Brother Quiverstick 30″ blank but I sanded it down a little to be able to handle lighter spoon and small chubby darters out hole hopping, basically the idea was exactly the same as what Grant posted about the other day. I didn’t intend for it to have very simillar color guide wraps as a TUC but it ended up working out that way, sorry TUC not trying to copy you guys. I can’t wait to put some eyes on the ice with this thing.

It’s just a very basic 3:1 faded chevron

That’s a really cool rod. Out of curiosity, why did you chose to sand down a Quiverstick for use on walleye? It seems like a light rod for walleyes. I’m not trying knock, I’m just wondering if I’m missing out? Again, sweet job on the wrap.

The rod had plenty of strength and backbone for even the biggest walleyes but I felt like the tip was just a hair heavy for the smaller spoons and chubby darters that I plan on using it for so I took some sandpaper and lightened it a very little bit
