Which resort do you recommend on the south side of the lake? 4 guys total, 8 holes, easy access to house, affordable/competitive rates.

I’ve gone out of Lybacks several times nothing to fancy price is right and you are in a good area. Chapman’s also has a couple sleepers owners are great .

MAcs twin bay might be the nearest if you are looking for a bar/ food right on shore as well.
    Stay away from Walleye Dundees!

Great place, but its on the East side, literally. Coming from the south are you coming up 169 or 47 ? This would help with the southside locations, but if Hunters Pt is on your radar, they work hard to keep the rentals on the bite

X2 for Hunter’s. I’ve stayed with them many times. Always left happy…and with fish.

i would still consider isle on the south. staying a friends cabin, in izatys, one night and then staying in a sleeper the next two nights is plan.

Isle is definitely SE on the lake, Hunters Pt is 8 miles north of Isle, hence Eastside, they just have an Isle address.

That makes sense now. Thanks for the insight.

Probably the place that I’ve heard the most good things about on the SE side of the Lake is Appeldorns.

Tim – I have a house out of Nitti’s Hunter’s Point. I have always been treated well by the staff there and I know that they do their best to keep the rentals on the spots for the best chance to catch fish. Just like all the resorts – you still have to work for the fish by jigging and or moving around during the day. You can get to the flats from their roads as well. Great resort – great food!
