So I guess I was running the wrong oil in my auger. And I just picked up the correct synthetic oil to change it. Should I be worried about leaving some old oil when I am draining it and pouring the new oil. Will the old oil contaminate the new oils and caus something bad to happen.

ALL the 4 stroke augers are sensitive to oil weight and level. Follow the manual and don’t put a drop more than it calls for. Overfilling is bad…

If there is a tiny bit of the old oil in it,it will not hurt, guaranteed.Just make sure that you did a good job of draining the old oil. Hey,reed the directions. FatFish
