What is everyone’s must have items at this weeks Ice Show? I’m pretty well set on the big items, so will just be purchasing odds and ends and some new lures.

To get an autograph from James Holst! I just hope I can afford it!
I don’t need anything but I am going to check things out with my brother.

Get yourself another precision, a QT, and a noodle from the guys at TUC

A smaller item which produces big results for me are the new Trigger panfish plastics. The mustache worm is one of my mainstay crappie and big gill baits. The spike and larvae worm will also be tipped on many of my pannie jigs. There are times where the plastic does not work, however most of the time they do. I like not having to re-bait the hook all the time. I will be using all of these plastics with some of my jigging spoons also for finicky walleyes and perch. VMC has also brought a whole new line of UV/Glow spoons. I believe the VMC spoons will sell like crazy just like at all the other shows so far!

Strikemaster- I know my dad picked up the new 10 inch lazer for his Honda Lite- no smell, no mixing gas and still has the power.

Good luck fishing everyone, lets hope this snow does not pile up too bad!!

I’d love to, but I get one a year to stay on the wifes better side. I have an Al Dente and Precision, both 28″, already. I want to sight fish is the reason for the new rod.

The ice fishing industry is still small enough where you have the chance to talk to all the guys behind the scenes at each of the companies. So great to talk to the rod builders, the lure R&D guys, etc. Had a great time talking to the 13 fishing guys last year. Best part of the show in my opinion and it comes with price of admission.

I’m still a sucker for hand painted jigs every year.
