Mille lacs lake advice

I was wondering if anybody had any good advice or information for someone that wants to fish Mille lacs for the first time. I ve done a good amount of reading and scouting old reports. I ve seen garrison bay is a good place to start. I am hoping to maybe head that way in a couple weeks and get some of that early ice walleye action. Stay safe out there

When we fished there last year, we had success on mud flats about 34 fow. Lindy rig set up with a large fathead.
