Hi everybody, it’s been awhile since I posted a question. Last year I had replace my Lowrance H2Oc with a Lowrance Safari and found out the hard way that it’s NOT waterproof. I’ve been looking at the Rino 655T. I think it’s OK to accept a Navionics lake chip. I would like to hear some street info from you guys. Also,is the the touch screen the way to go or are the push buttons the way to go? The Safari is touch screen and was very sensative. Any input would be very helpfull. Thank you, Ray.

Garmin Rhino will not take the navionic chip…but is a good unit i’d look at the garmin 62s or 62st or an oregon 600 all of which are garmin and would take garmin’s lake chip (upper midwest)which has all the midwest on it
