What cool new tool are you bringing on the ice with you this year?

I’m trying some summer lures like rippin’ raps, that look like they just may work good in the winter.

I almost always use the buckshot lures… but James and the boys have me convinced that the slender spoon rips lips. Just ordered 5 different color combos- cant wait!

Also bought and EC Inline reel… never used one before

Put together a soft case to bring my humminbird 597 out on the ice. Looking forward to the mapping capabilities, having my summer waypoints at hand, a bigger screen than the hand held gps, and having a second flasher for when the gf comes along.

joe’s had the Marcum vx-1 on sale for 249 today so I decided to re[lace my old fl-8. I had no problems with the fl-8 but am looking forward to seeing if the Marcum is a better unit

I bought a Lowrance Endura handheld GPS for the ice. Excited to use it to work structure and points. I know it will make me a better fisherman.

I’m converting my 597 hd di over for ice fishing to see if I like it better than my flasher. Yes you can now use di units with the latest update. Also downloaded the Nav + on my phone, but I’ll also have the Lakemaster in the Humminbird. Getting the lifeproof case and lifejacket for my phone too.
